Kid‑Approved Weekend Planner — DC Metro (May 10‑11, 2025)

Spring’s in full swing and Mother’s Day is Sunday, so the city is bursting with family fun. Here are eight can’t‑miss activities—all doable in a single weekend with a little planning.

1. Tour Europe in an Afternoon

EU Embassy Open House
Saturday, May 10 | 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
More than 20 European embassies throw open their doors with music, snacks and passport stamps. Lines build fast—arrive by 9:45 a.m., bring water and leave bulky strollers at home. Axios

2. Tiny Trees, Big Wow Factor

Potomac Bonsai Festival, U.S. National Arboretum
